| 1398874 | 2015-04-20 11:37:00 | I haven't tried it personally but you could try using this www.plop.at Seems you can make a bootable CD and a Linux install USB drive then use the bootable CD to boot from the USB drive, if that makes sense. It's a way for older systems to boot from USB. |

| 1398877 | 2015-04-24 01:27:00 | Have an old P4 desktop here so thought I would install Lubuntu or similar on it. Lubuntu is 705Mb when downloaded the only rw Cd I could find here was 700mb so won't ISO won't fit and the machine only has a CD drive and I don't have an IDE DVD drive to use, and it won't boot off USB. Why would you make an ISO just marginally larger than a blank CD. Pretty dumb, oh well it might be back to Puppy Linux until I can get to the recycle center here and see if they have any IDE DVD drives Hey Gary, I think you used to be in Nelson??
