From what it looks like he's done his dash anyway, and at the next Local Body Election its bye bye unless he bails beforehand. That sums it up nicely. Local body elections attract little interest with most of the population at the best of times and now we are paying for it. Just take care what you do down there in Wellington. What appears to be a great idea in theory tends to be anything but in practice. |

However there are some (well, at least one PF1 member) who think that the cure for the country's problems is even more immigration, until the population is up to about 12 million :banana Clearly the system is too hot for now and your idea would be a good thing, but in the long run we should have people in NZ. 4.5 is ridiculous. Gently gently catchy monkey. |

Very undemocratic for ratepayers in my opinion. Add in the fact pants down brown didn't resign when caught out having illicit sex and you have the recipe for the problems we face in Auckland. Well I was going to comment until that. What is it with you? Every topic imaginable has to come back to your pet soap box drivel. |

If we are to vote, I nominate ................ (drum roll) Prefect :clap Gary67 :banana Most of the resident Winnie brigade :) |

| 1398766 | 2015-04-19 09:57:00 | The economy is handled well through a global financial crisis and a devastating earthquake, and now that this government has proven itself as worthy financial caretakers, the leftists complain that 50,000 plus people per year want to move here because of our success, and they call that a failure ? Sorry, but all those whinging about the current government need to wake up and have a look around the world. I mean the big wide world around us, not their little 60x60m section of it. We are a financially and physically safe country to live in, and a beautiful one too. Instead of whinging every time you feel the need of a political score, how about actually doing something to improve the situation. Me, I changed my entire occupation to help the situation. what are you doing? |
