1407704 2015-08-31 21:32:00 I have just downloaded K-Lite codex and it has taken over the sound on my PC. How can I reinstall the WIN10 sound system? Bryan (147)
1407705 2015-08-31 21:38:00 Whats the brand/model of the pc you're using?? Go to their site

People still use those programs? You should use something like Potplayer or VLC player.

1407706 2015-08-31 21:54:00 k-lite is generally good & MPC-HC is fantastic... but you do need to watch which options you choose when you install it.

You can change the audio output settings under Start / K-Lite Codec Pack / Codec Tweak Tool.

1407707 2015-08-31 22:09:00 If all your audio files are playing through MPC, open up MPC and go to View / Options / Player / Formats. Click Run as Administator and uncheck any formats (such as .mp3 / .wav / .flac ) that you don't want MPC to play. autechre (266)
1407708 2015-09-01 08:16:00 Solution. I uninstalled all third party media players, rebooted which gave me back the MS player which is what I wanted. Bryan (147)
