They wanted more money for it. Money we dont have (as the country is broke) So is me me me, want want want. Pull your head in, there is no free anything, its the taxpayer who has to pay. Oh and this is the first time ever that any left or right govt broke promises then. Why not mention the labour govt REFUSING to fund testing of blood for aids, and look at the DEATHS(yes deaths) that labour decision caused when they were in power. |

| 1399068 | 2015-04-23 05:46:00 | ...there is no free anything, its the taxpayer who has to pay.I'll freely admit I haven't done the math, but you may well find in the greater scheme of things free GP visits for kids is actually cost-effective because the early intervention means less drain on taxpayer resources later on when the general health deteriorates an becomes acute and the kids end up in hospital. If that is the case then as a concerned taxpayer you should be applauding the initiative, not decrying it in a knee jerk reaction against perceived left wing moaners. | Tony (4941) | ||
