| 1483093 | 2021-12-24 06:12:00 | Have you noticed TV1 putting up the greeting "Meri Kirihimete!"? It's supposed to be maori for Merry Christmas.:illogical Next thing they will be telling us that the maoris celebrated Christmas! The maoris had not even heard the Christian message until the colonists arrived. Its just another made up maori word like Aotearoa. Next thing you know theyll have a maori word for Easter as well. Where will it all end? :waughh: |

| 1483100 | 2021-12-24 18:35:00 | Why not use the real name of Winter Solstice, since it was a rape and pillage of the old pre christian winter festival. Back then they celebrated stuff all the time, but under the nailed fool its all you cannot do this, that or the other how boring. | gary67 (56) | ||

So maori isn't allowed new words, it was meant to stay static forever but English is allowed? Why are you even speaking this then? You should be saying Yfel lîesan ðâs ð¯ær samhwyle pro Un−wemme cwide êadiglic Hâligdæg |
