Relevant or not...I don't know.

Anyway last couple of days when I first start - while car is cold - there's a hissy noise.....it goes away once car is warm. Like the sound a frying pan makes when you drop the steak in.

What is it? No dash lights on, no difference in the way it drives or anything.

I know that's no help.

Booked in for a new one....

1482624 2021-12-02 02:20:00 Hmmm, slipping whilst cold causing hissing sound, stops slipping and becomes more "grippy" as it heats up, I'd be looking to adjust fanbelt/alternator pulley tension as a first step, but if there are obvious signs of wear then replace of course. zqwerty (97)
