1480179 2021-08-31 22:07:00 I am trying to open Outlook to read my emails and it just won't open. I receive a screen like the attached image.

Thank you Bryan. I tried to attach an image but it would not work so I will do a copy and paste. The page says, "Something went wrong. Please try again later." and a button that says Refresh the page, which gives the same result. The following is what I receive:

I noticed at the bottom it says too many objects opened, but I would have thought that if that was the case, doing a restart would fix that.

Thanks for your help.

1480180 2021-08-31 22:16:00 For many years I used Outlook out of MS Office 2007. Suddenly gmail and xtra both stopped. Outlook was suddenly too old and no longer accepted. I ended up needing to go to MS Mail to be able to access gmail and xtra. Bryan (147)
1480181 2021-08-31 23:31:00 Have a look in the task manager and see how may copies of Outlook you have running or reboot the PC and see if that fixes it. paulw (1826)
1480182 2021-09-01 05:38:00 I've had a look at task manager and I don't have any copies of Outlook running, although there is about another hundred other programmes listed. I am able to access my emails from my phone through MyMail and have been told by someone experienced that I should load Mail onto my laptop. I have tried several times but it doesn't appear to be installing. I can open a window to Mail and there is a "get" button to press but that does not do anything. The person who was helping me is at a loss why the application is not installing. Perhaps, as Bryan said, Outlook is too old.

Thank you for your help - it is appreciated.:thanks

1480183 2021-09-01 07:18:00 Perhaps, as Bryan said, Outlook is too old.

Thank you for your help - it is appreciated.:thanks Basically anything older than Outlook 2013 is not officially supported in W10. AND quite often providers like Google/Gmail it won't work either - Too old, too insecure.

Generally anything older than 1-2 editions consider as to old.

1480185 2021-09-01 22:07:00 Really need some more info
Who is you email with ? Im assuming MS
What version of Office/outlook . What service Pack ?
It is Outlook, not Outlook webmail (Outlook in your browser)
Win10 , Win8, Win7 ?

Even Outlook 2007 still works (imap) in Win10 (but I have seen Win10 automatically remove it after a update)
Outlook 2010 still works (for now) in Win10 & with 365 , hotmail, outlook.com if SP2 is installed
I'd consider 2007 too old :-)

try...
assuming Win10....
as above, try Win10's built in mail program. If that doesnt work you have serious issues with your PC
Try Office repair , that option is in control Panel : Programs and features
try outlook safe mode , run Outlook.exe /safe
remove the profile in Outlook & resetup email
Uninstall Office completely & re-install
Try a new user profile. Add a new win user a/c & see ifg that works (sometimes a corrupt profile causes weird issues)
Uninstall any AV you have installed
