| 1479455 | 2021-08-26 04:20:00 | Ive had another thought. I still have all the photos (.jpgs) used to make those swf movies, so can anyone recommend a Linux Mint 19.3 operated programme that can add Transitions and Music and will produce MP4 files or similar? A quick Google has me spoilt with choice, so opinions are welcome. :waughh: |

BUT there is a basic one that works on Linux, Windows or MACs . Its simple to use, Doesn't have a abundance of useless never used settings and does a good basic job . Discovered it saves as . avi 4K Slideshow Maker . 4kdownload . com/downloads" target="_blank">www . 4kdownload . com |

Yes I think we can safely consign FlashArch to the same bin as the majority of .swf Players. Anyway, if you and Wainui cant sort these files out there isnt much point me trying. Adobe even made a mess of killing Shockwave. Moving along, I have downloaded and installed OpenShot and am ready to try it. Interesting, here is OpenShot is in the Mint Synaptic Package Manager which has it listed, and you along with others told this rookie to look there first and save myself some grief. :D Well, I remembered your advice so installed from there. It insisted on 5 or 6 other packages so I installed them too. All is good, so when I opened the programme it advises there is an update. Closer inspection shows that Packet Manager has installed ver: 2.4.0-1. All good, lets do it. Hmmm the update is v2.6.0 Applmage. Whoooh, dont these Applmage programmes run all by themselves without a dedicated OS? I seek further advice. :D |
