1479433 2021-08-23 13:20:00 Glad you sorted it for him.
I tried to load the file into: Vlc, Media player classic, Adobe Premier pro, Adobe media encoder, openshot, and Handbrake, no go with any!
Yet the thing plays fine in Adobe Flash player.
Very weird

1479434 2021-08-24 03:57:00 Now I cant seem to get the picture out my mind of the small white Boat / Yacht :D

Ok, well I’ve got Adobe Flash Player playing the swf file, so now it is a matter of converting the swf file to MP4 or some other format that other players like VLC understands.

Did you Screen Record using Ashampoo Snap?

Anyway, in answer to your query about the little boat at the end. Nobody on the deck of the Boat Club knew anything about it either. Apparently he just turned up, tied up at the No1 berth, normally reserved for the Super Yachts, and headed to the shops for provisions which he brought back on a sack barrow. I’ve been going to Hervey Bay every year (except last) for over a decade now and I’ve never seen that little boat before or since that day. :D

yes -- Ashampoo Snap 10 (giveaway Version) , which saves it as .wmv, had to cut off 1 second at the beginning otherwise you would see the mouse clicking GO. Then Converted the .wmv to MP4 using another Program. Uploaded to Onedrive, link Provided.

The original File you linked wont play on any thing I have here, and trust me I got PLENTY of media players that should play just about anything. Any that Tried either didn't know what it was or came up as corrupted. ONLY that Adobe projector would play it.

Weird all right.

I’ve got three programmes now that all play the same swf file equally well.

PotPlayer, Flash Movie Player and now Adobe Flash Player.

However, Ashampoo Snap 10 throws an error message see Post #6 and I’m a bit gun-shy fiddling with .dll’s on another another persons computer running Win10.

I'll open the Bar and think about it. :)

This what pot Player does -- Audio only . Maybe if Flash was installed still it would play as it should ?

If the Original is on the original PC then thats one reason it will play, all the bits will still be there .

1479439 2021-08-25 00:14:00 Just out of curiosity, can anyone open THIS (www.dropbox.com) B.M. (505)
1479440 2021-08-25 02:31:00 Yes Flash player 10 opens it and plays. KarameaDave (15222)

Well, I'm totally lost now Dave. :crying

You see, the other .swf file played perfectly for me on PotPlayer but this .swf only plays the audio. Exactly the opposite to what Wainui experienced.

I'll try Flash Player 10 and see what happens there.

1479442 2021-08-25 05:19:00 Drink!

Another strange thing with the Hervey Bay file, after trying to open it in all the software I mentioned
the file no longer opened in Flash player, so I had to download it again.
Perhaps one of them corrupted it.
I might make several copies and try them all again, as if the first program corrupted the file one of the others may actually work.
