1483025 2021-12-22 04:44:00 I've been a couple of times.
Found prices comparable with NZ.
Wouldn't think they would be back up to speed yet, they took a fare hit with Covid.
I would be more concerned about getting back into NZ again.

+1
with omicron on the doorstep, odds are it will be a long wait until you can get into miq.
highly likely you will get stuck overseas where ever you go.

article a few days ago about people looking at staying home for xmas because they don't want to go away and get stuck there if borders go up around auckland (or other city).

1483027 2021-12-22 06:09:00 I see on Aljazera that Omicron has really taken off in the USA and of all things, NZ is allowing in 32 "rich pricks" to invest millions here.

The Press this morning.

Been to Fiji twice, bought good clothing over there way back in the 1990's, but like NZ probably all made in China.

As people say have they conquered covid yet!!.

1483028 2021-12-22 07:00:00 Your experience is greatly dependent on your Budget, curiosity and love for adventure.

The exotic Melanesian archipelago is home to some of the world’s biggest and most vibrant soft coral barrier reefs, lush tropical vegetation, pristine white beaches and endless smiles! More than 330 islands make up the country and there are nearly just as many experiences to enjoy while you’re there. Snorkel, dive, surf or explore. Do it with family or friends or enjoy a unique adults-only retreat.

Although an island in the pacific isn't the worst place to be stuck in. Assuming you have the funds to hang in there.

quite agree, be rather nice. however the resort bill for a few months stay ..........ouch.

that did happen in the first lockdown. air travel ceased and many got stuck at holiday locations.

That was my thought. Not too difficult going, it's returning. But SWMBO was not thinking of going now - a bit later when things have returned to relatively normal. We'll just have to wait and see.:)

no point even thinking about it at this stage, its going to be a long time before things are back to normal.
save your money, you may need it soon.
