| 1483248 | 2022-01-01 05:49:00 | So I killed my beloved keyboard with a cup of tea. OK, new KB time I thought. Hah. Now I loved my Razer Deathstalker type keyboard...it's LED lit keys, so handy at night...and it's almost flat soft keys. Not a mechanical fan...took me a while to get used to the Deathstalker, but going back to mechanical...ugh. Yes it's a personal thing. But. I find mechanical is the rage....ok a few that are not. But the lit keys? No they now do this awful RGB under the keys thing. I bought one and it's like trying to type with a spotlight in your face. Flogged it back off on TRademe and finally have found another proper (used) one on Ebay. You'd think there would be some variation, not a this is what we make now, you have to have this or nothing.... And the mad prices now. My brother bought a Large Print backlit thing a while ago, they have increased 76% in price now....jeez, most keyboards are just big bits of plastic anyway... |

For years I had an old wireless Keyboard on this lounge PC, then one day it just up and died. Had a Genius GX Scorpion K9 Gaming Keyboard Sitting about in its box for several years doing nothing, so got it out. Should have done that ages ago, it has a real nice feel, and has adjustable backlighting everything from Completely off to fully on. This one as advertised. gorillagaming.co.nz |

He worked at Maccas part time whilst at school and just said ho hum and bought another one I am sure my place is where laptops go to die, this family has spent 10k plus on lappies since 2000. |

| 1483252 | 2022-01-02 23:43:00 | When I bought my first (and current) mechanical keyboard I decided to not have drinks near it. So what happens?, I sit back a couple meters to open a bottle of coke, nowhere near my new keyboard, and as the lid comes of I lose my grip and drop it. The coke comes out of the bottle like a fountain and soaks everything, myself and my brand new keyboard included. Sometimes I fell swearing is appropriate. Anyway immediately turned it upside down on a towel, and spent the next few weeks cleaning out sticky keys as I found them. It still has a couple that catch slightly at times. I like the mechanical keys but don't think they are significantly better than my previous keyboards without. |
