490837 2006-10-12 02:56:00 I've got IE7 RC2 installed, and can't get it to use tabs. I've set the options in "Internet Options", but it just won't do it. The New tab option is also greyed out in the menu.

On another PC it works fine.

Any ideas?

  Well, I thought it was funny! :D :D

But Mike's suggestion is pertinent. Why struggle with MS cr*p when Firefox is there for you?

490844 2007-01-17 09:05:00 I finally relented and installed IE7 yesterday. I am able to open a site in a new tab using Ctrl+T but if I right click over a link I do not get a menu option to open the site in a new tab (as in Firefox), only "Open in a New Window". Is this a feature of IE7 or is there something I can do to get this option enabled in IE7? This question may have been answered somewhere else in the forum but my search attempts have so far proved unsuccessful. allcamp (1882)

490846 2007-01-17 09:32:00 Thanks for replying, winmacguy, although I feel that you wasted your time as I was really after a practical solution. I constantly come across the arguement that "Firefox is better..."!!! and this may be true but I also like to use IE as one of my browsers. I would still appreciate any help on this matter. allcamp (1882)
