491158 2006-10-14 04:46:00 Tryed Spybot . . the f#$king thing is still there will try hijackthis again .

I see by your post count that you are new here . . . . . here's the idea:

When you post something and then get a reply . . . quote the last post to which you are referring . . . it makes it a lot easier to keep who's who sorted .

Anyway . . . .

If you don't turn off System Restore and don't perform the cleansing in Safe Mode, then possibly it is a waste of time trying to cure an infection .

Trusting McAfee-Norton-Symantec is a false sense of security . . they are so bloated with their own program that they cannot protect you quickly enough . . . . so it is with M$-based opsys's . . . you HAVE to become very proficcient as a healer of malware and IT professional . Sorry . . . that's just the truth .

Now . . . PLEASE try to perform the purge with the methods proffered and see what happens . . . this will not be easy for you to accomplish in one fell swoop .

Later on, someone will want to have you post a HiJackThis ( . majorgeeks . com/download3155 . html" target="_blank">www . majorgeeks . com) result from a security scan . If you are in the US, use the 2nd Texas ( . majorgeeks . com/downloadget . php?id=3155&file=11&evp=3304750663b552982a8baee6434cfc13" target="_blank">www . majorgeeks . com) mirror site; if under the equator, use the Australian ( . com/downloadget . php?id=3155&file=14&evp=3304750663b552982a8baee6434cfc13" target="_blank">majorgeeks . com) one .

I like MajorGeeks . . . they are safe to use as long as you don't get into the margins and click on some paid advertising . . . Blotto! Bad deal!

Stay with it (person of whatever gender) . . . it WILL get easier in time!
