Anyway . . . . If you don't turn off System Restore and don't perform the cleansing in Safe Mode, then possibly it is a waste of time trying to cure an infection . Trusting McAfee-Norton-Symantec is a false sense of security . . they are so bloated with their own program that they cannot protect you quickly enough . . . . so it is with M$-based opsys's . . . you HAVE to become very proficcient as a healer of malware and IT professional . Sorry . . . that's just the truth . Now . . . PLEASE try to perform the purge with the methods proffered and see what happens . . . this will not be easy for you to accomplish in one fell swoop . 491161	2006-10-16 03:48:00	I problably shouldnt be saying this but im an 11 year old geek, i.ve fixed about five computers with a range of problems and im a male... but this is something totally new... ill get back to u's once i done the scan in safe mode.. see what it picks up I bet. I see the results of those sort of fixes all the time. I have successfully removed CoolWeb with Spybot haundreds of times.	pctek (84)
