| 492015 | 2006-10-16 23:16:00 | I have had an Olympic technology scanner running fine for ages, then one day it stopped letting me acquire the scanner - power is still OK to the scanner. This error message has come up (I think around the time I installed a webcam): "16 bit windows subsystem c:windows\system32\autoexec.nt the system file is not suitable for running MSDOS or MS windows applications close to terminate" I have tried unplugging the webcam, deleting the scanner driver (it won't let me do it, same message as above) reinstalling the scanner driver (same result as above). I'm running xp pro and an adsl router. No other obvious faults - any ideas? Thanks. |
