| 491784 | 2006-10-17 13:09:00 | Thanks all The only gaming that is expected to be done on it is Microsoft Flight and Train simulators. I did think about going to a 7900GT but was dubious if it would give an increase in performance equal to twice the 7600GT (considering it is twice as expensive to buy). As for the floppy drive - I originally built my own machine and did not install a floppy. Then I found myself wishing I had spent the extra $13 because I found several instances where I needed a floppy drive and I have since chucked one in. nothing wrong with a 7600gt for gaming (FSX kinda counts as a game), and yes floppy drives are still important. as for LCD monitor brand the only difference is customer support and warranty. beleive it or not, like ice cream, they all come out of the one factory. |
