| 492438 | 2006-10-18 11:18:00 | Hi All, I'm interested in setting up my own server type set up for emails and the like for home, but for a complete newbie I am not too sure on what I should be looking for in server specs, and also in respect to software. I know there is a lot of freeware/open source stuff out there, but I am a very Microsoft program oriented person, and am wondering if something like Small Business Server is a better (although hugely pricey) option for me? Appreciate any help or advice on setting this up! Cheers Craig. :D |
