| 492440 | 2006-10-18 10:23:00 | In a network, how to navigate into others’ systems without their knowing because it would be shown that I have accessed them when they are shutting down or using the network tool they can find it..etc…(Because my subordinates should not know that I am assessing their work, eg, making changes in their documents, correcting for grammar mistakes, deleting unwanted documents etc,…is it possible anyway….PLEASE HELP | sleuth (11045) | ||

.Eh? How about explaining to your staff that their grammar needs improving, and being open with it that you will correct their documents if required. Why on earth would you need to delete their documents without them noticing? Your Network Admin will have full access records. I am sure your staff will be thankful for that so they do not get blamed by your boss for your actions when documents are deleted/edited incorrectly without their knowledge. |

Even if you could sneak around the network undetected there is no way you can prevent the files themselves reporting when they were last accessed and/or changed . You will get caught out sooner or later when people get suspicious . Do the decent thing and be honest about it . :groan: |
