If you install it, people can then see files (like webpages or file downloads) you want them to see buy pointing their browser at yor computer. Assuming, of course, that they know that your page is there. And that your computer is there, with webpages on it. And that they have a reason to look at your webpage. http://httpd.apache.org/ If you have a PHP file that outputs an image, and you can get apache + php to work, you can then view that image in a web browser, or save it to your computer. You don't even have to be online. |
