| 492338 | 2006-10-18 02:29:00 | Continuing on with the saga of my pc, I am now having problems installing software from CD/DVD to HDD. I tried 2 disks at work and they installed fine, but on bringing them to home pc, I get continual CRC errors. The funny part is that the CRC errors are not always at the same place, and to make matters even more curious, one CD which I have not been able to install has now installed...... Even bought a new CD/DVD drive to see if that was the problem, but to no avail. Anyone got any ideas as to the cause of CRC errors besides a faulty CD/DVD |
