Got one of these at a yard sale for very little money....what specifically does it do?

I recognize a Cat5e connection and some sort of a coaxial female and a 15-pin modular connection.

Made by 3Comm, and called an EtherLink III......

Is this a little before my time? No wise-butt answers please! :o

492307 2006-10-18 00:49:00 Its the one they made after the DF63C509A and before the DF63C509C.

DF63C509B-TPC would require DF6 entered as the Grantee Code and 3C509B-TPC as the product code. In this example, the product code identifies itself a common 3Com Etherlink III card,

492308 2006-10-18 01:05:00 just thought i would be a bit pedantic and comment that cat5e is not a connection, it is a type of cable.
The connection you see is an rj-45 socket more commonly known as an ethernet socket.

492309 2006-10-18 02:14:00 It is an old 10Mbps network card.
RJ-45 plug for ethernet cable connection.
Coaxial plug for the old coaxial networks. You would need a T-junction to actually connect to a coaxial network.
I think the 15-pin plug is for token-ring networks but probably wrong
