| 492262 | 2006-10-17 21:52:00 | I have a satellite m70 17 inch widscreen laptop which is only 6 months old and the screen needs to be replaced. It is not covered under warranty because it was stood on and I cannot claim under insurance. I got a quote from one place to buy just the screen and I install it myself and to buy the screen was $700.00 !!!!!!! Does anyone know any other way to get either a cheaper new or secondhand screen????????? | lorry (8865) | ||
| 492263 | 2006-10-17 22:06:00 | Why can't you claim under insurance? It would seem to be a clear case of accidental damage, and that is what insurance is for. Is it not your laptop or is it excluded from your cover? Perish the thought that you might be uninsured. :eek: Cheers Billy 8-{) |
