| 492204 | 2006-10-17 19:39:00 | You guys HAVE got to be getting sick of my posts by now. but anyways. replaed mobo and CPU last night. booted, didnt get anything. so remvoed firewire/usb puls from board, booted, nothing. removed RAM from board, swapped slots and sticks around, nothing, plugged USB back in, and it booted. installed windows, played some games at same pant creaming speeds, its freaking amazing when you can play games at 1600 x 1200 at 100+ FPS... But, turned it on this morning, and nothing. did all the same stuff as i did last night, and it turned on when i remved a stick of RAM from the second Dual Channel slot, turned it off. replaced RAM, and it booted again. once its booted, it will be fine to reboot, and power up again, but seems to not boot if it is left alone for some time. Any thoughts ?? |

| 492207 | 2006-10-17 21:30:00 | Go to bios and try switching it to RAID even if ya have none. Mine has one SATA but on IDE it does not boot but on a reset it does, when put on RAID it boots each time. w/o windows installed, booting from CD and recognise the hdd from bios is difficult ... it was mroe like tial and error for us and switching it ide to raid etc etc .. when its installed, we put on raid and it works each time now. | Nomad (952) | ||
