492148 2006-10-17 11:14:00 Hi all.

after the numerous other problems i have had with my system, i think i have it under control. Except for one.

i get a slight stutter in games. Its like clockwork. its not irregular, it will do it every 2 seconds, it will "jerk", like, skip a couple of frames. I have dont the 3D Mark 06 benchmark, and it it skips frame slike crazy, now i understand that 3D Mark 06 is very very heavy on the GFX, and realise that i will get low frames during that test. But i the benchmark will skip frames all together.

The funny thing is, that the FPS meter on both games, and in the benchmark always measure consitant, they never drop when it stutters, which is odd.

i googles this prob, and i found a couple of forums, one specificly on Guru3d.com where someone was having the same issue, and apparently is fixed by "Setting 'max frames to render ahead' to 0 in the nVidia control panel" except, where in the nVidia control panel ?1?1?!

has anyone had this issue.

My system specs are in my sig. Cheers

i should of done a bit more work before posting this. Found out that it was the Easy Tune 5 utility, which is gigabytes hardware monitoring tool which was causing the stuttering.

:D
