| 492796 | 2006-10-19 21:39:00 | Last Friday I did a virus scan, the number of files scanned were about 101,000 . I believe that the first time I got the laptop, the total number of files on it were about 50,000 . It looks like the number of files has slowly crept up over the 18 months I've had this laptop . What are the best ways to streamline all these files? I think some of these files are unnecessary . Is there a Windows XP wizard or program to help me achieve this? :help: Thanks in advance . |

It may not be as drastic as ccleaner, but is easier to learn, I found. I have both. With each, you choose which types of files you wish to remove, so you can take it slowly for starters - rather than risking too much. |
