| 492956 | 2006-10-22 05:13:00 | Yup, thats if its a DVI monitor, it should come as part of it. If its only VGA you should get a VGA cable. No point in getting either if it doesnt come with a DVI or VGA cable, you cant use it. Unless u have one lying around. |

| 492957 | 2006-10-22 05:30:00 | back to original post... i run dual CRTs, one on VGA-VGA and the other DVI-VGA (DVI out with an adapter) no noticeable difference with any arrangement, and they are older CRTs too. dunno if it helps.... |

Some monitors with both DVI and VGA options come with both cables, some only ship with a VGA cable. I have experienced both options with different brands. |

Wonder what's wrong with yours? :confused: My parents ViewSonic which is around 2 years ago didn't have DVI port at all. lol. I don't know when is the DVI port is being manufactured into all LCDs monitors anyway. |

Some of the ones that support both DVI and VGA only come with a VGA cable. |
