493897 2006-10-25 08:44:00 TrySuper Encoder (www.erightsoft.com). sam m (517)
493898 2006-10-25 08:50:00 You could try Total Recorder - it does cost $US20 but has a great many uses and I'm sure you would find it useful in the future

493899 2006-10-25 09:50:00 Or, for super cheap, use {sound recorder} to record while the .avi is playing the relevant bit. Make a dummy .wav file first to save it into, as sound recorder defaults to some ridiculously short time limit. R2x1 (4628)
493900 2006-10-25 19:15:00 try virtualdub
or virtualdub mod

if it's able to open the avi you want you'll be able to demux the audio stream
then get audacity to chop out the part you want
or you can select and range you want in virtualdub too i think

493901 2006-10-25 21:40:00 Use audacity.
Once running you import the sound file from the avi, trim to your liking and save it in what ever format you require.

If you want to use it and you need more help then let me know.
