2006-10-25 03:06:00 | When I try to logon as "Administrator" (Win XP) the computer freezes. I have an alternative account with administrator rights, but I cannot get in as "Administrator". What should I do? | bpt2 (6653) | |
2006-10-25 03:16:00 | Logon in as other acc with admin rights, save any docs from administrator account, then go to control panel>system>advance> and delete the administrator profile, log off, then back on to recreate the administrator profile | SolMiester (139) | |

2006-10-25 03:50:00 | Deletting the Adminstrator account and then rebooting did the trick as I could not create a new Adminstrator account (it stated that thsi account already exists). Before I was unable to login in Safe mode (PC just froze), but that is now fixed and the original password was preserved!

2006-10-25 04:20:00 | I deleted the profile as I could not see the account among the User accounts. | bpt2 (6653) | |
2006-10-25 05:46:00 | I deleted the profile as I could not see the account among the User accounts. You can see all users and groups through Computer Management Console MMC, right click 'My Computer>Manage", however, yes the profile was corrupt, hence deleting profile, relogging back in re-creates the profile resolved the isssue.
