| 493761 | 2006-10-24 22:40:00 | Hi Folks. Small problem. Office Suite 2003 - Excel. When I open Header and Footer for a page and select Cutom, I get the three section option. Left, Centre and Right. Is there a way to make this a single section entry to allow typing across the page within the Header? Thanks. | Scouse (83) | ||
| 493762 | 2006-10-25 00:26:00 | I had a quick look and see the problem you're having. I don't know a way around this, to be honest I have never really used the header/footers in Excel. But one thing I discovered recently that might get you around your problem is on the Page Setup screen moving to the Sheet tab there are options for rows to repeat at the top. You could create some "header" rows at the top and select the rows as above and they will be repeated at the top of every row. You won't be able to do footers this way though. Other than that I guess you might have to resort to using vb code? HTH:) |

If you choose the Left option, does the text not go right across the page when you print it or view it in Print Preview? It does in my Excel XP. Or maybe you mean something entirely different? :confused: |
