| 493694 | 2006-10-24 13:41:00 | Depends on if you want those features to be enabled. The shutdown temperature will turn off your PC when it gets to XYZ - to prevent permanent hardware damage. My P4 2.8Ghz laptop would simply restart at 62 degrees... Then again I know that a friend of mine has a MASSIVE heatsink and fan on his and it never goes about 23 degrees. Your call :) |

| 493695 | 2006-10-24 21:17:00 | i think you should monitor your cpu temp while your comp is running like with motherboard monitor 5 or something then see where the temperature usually is then set the value so..if your comp's really hot like mine..around 60+ most of the time.. you don't want it to restart at 60 i set mine at 80 i think that's the lowest value i can choose anyway..um |
