| 493671 | 2006-10-24 09:01:00 | Help please. I have just upgraded my desktop, running XP Pro. I loaded MS Office XP on and MS Word wouldn't go, so I uninstalled and re-installed, but Word would still crash. Uninstalled Office XP and installed my Office 97, which fixed the Word problem, but MS Access will not start as the dialogue box suggests that "there is no license for it on this machine", although I have put in the same registration key as I had used previously on my old machine with Win 98. Everything else in Office works okay, but not Access. Any Ideas? |

Copy and paste into a notepad file and call it accessfix.reg or similar: REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Licenses\8CC49940-3146-11CF-97A1-00AA00424A9F] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Licenses\8CC49940-3146-11CF-97A1-00AA00424A9F\Retail] @="yubcdcprktpjtapmmfdacmupasbhscddncgp" |
