| 494728 | 2006-10-27 05:25:00 | A strange problem!! I have an ACER PC running XP Home. It has an Intel onboard graphics with an 82865G Intel driver. The PC is running with a resolution of 1024 x 768. If i reboot the machine with the monitor off the resolution changes to 1400 x 1200 (a resolution the graphics shouldn't even support). It only does this if i boot with the monitor off, it is fine if i boot with it on. I have updated the drivers and still no different. The problem occurs on 3 seperate monitors. I am able to change the resolution back the usual way Im baffled |

| 494729 | 2006-10-27 05:35:00 | that will be the maximum res the onboard graphics can handle, which will be much higher than your monitors can handle. It is very strange that it should default to max though. |
