| 494519 | 2006-10-26 14:09:00 | i have a 4 port router my Pc gets around 250 - 300 KB/s Dls on my laptop when pluged into the same router it gets arounds 500+ KB/s Dls ive tryed every tweek i could find and even diff net cards cables and swaped plugs around on router my desktop is a sempron 1.6gig 512 megs of ram laptop pent2 233mhz 192 megs of ram this has me stumped bothers me enuf im up to 3am in the morning any ideas? |

| 494520 | 2006-10-26 16:01:00 | lol well ill tell you a story.. i hadnt reformatted my hdd in...2 years? so anyway, i at first had dial up, then 256, then 2mb, then 3.5.... but when i went to 2mb it wasnt ever realy 2mb..only if i did multiconnections, but i never really knew, just thought it was hardware issues with telecom or something.. so when i got 3.5 mb my top speed even with multiconnections STILL didnt change..what the- so anyway i got this new hdd and i put windows and all the drivers and **** and gues what? 3.5mb speeds! and now that i have max/max i have 5.5mb+/768kbps internet !! so yeah, try reformatting, worked for me! |

| 494522 | 2006-10-27 02:23:00 | ok an update downloaded a demo off xtra last nite (4am this morning) hit a steady imprressive speed of 888KB/s touching 900 every minute or so thats impressive but i dont ever dl off xtra i only DL torrents |
