| 494503 | 2006-10-26 10:06:00 | Hi Before I get into great details of my problem is their anyone here that has got Etrust Alert Manger working? My problem in brief. Alert Manger worked fine sending critical events to my email. It then crashed and the service wouldn't run for more than 2 mins. Gave up trying at that point. Install new PC with fresh install of Alert manager and same thing happened. Figure it a MS issue - XP Pro by the way. Gave up again. Now after 2-3 months the service is running OK but not getting events from the clients. All firewalls are off and the policy set on the Etrust admin server is sending alerts to the Alert manager PC. I am about to start Ethereal and try and trace the data packets. Before I spend more time thought I see if anyone else has had this problem?? Nothing in the Event logs of the PC's either. |
