| 494325 | 2006-10-25 23:29:00 | I'm having a problem running a game so the support people told me to go to my bios settings and make sure the apperture for my AGP card is set to 64. I have seen that before on my old computer, but in this one there is no mention of my AGP apperture or anything to do with graphics or even sound? I fitted the graphics and sound cards myself and they seem to work. Is there something I'm missing in the bios? |

As Greg as suggested you'll need to provide a few more details such as motherboard, video card, game your trying to play and the problem your having. Have a read of this (www.tweak3d.net) its a lil dated but AGP cards havent exactly changed alot over time. |

| 494328 | 2006-10-26 03:00:00 | The general rule of thumb with AGP aperture size is that the more memory your graphics card has the smaller your aperture size should be. Set your aperture size to 128, that should be more than enough. I've always used this setting and very rarely have had a problem with it. Cheers chiefnz |

Cheers chiefnz I always thought the aperture size was supposed to be half your system RAM, not the card RAM up to 256Mb, after that, it doesnt matter |
