494042	2006-10-25 22:15:00	Is there a program out there that my friend and I can instant message each other with bluetooth? We have the same laptops, both built in with bluetooth. We sit about 5-6 feet away, so we're within bluetooth range. We tried using this Valhalla program, but for some reason we couldn't find each other even though our laptops were literally next to each other.	MasturJeff (7803)

494044	2006-10-26 05:49:00	Doesn't bluetooth create a network just like wifi? Simply with less range and reduced bandwidth. So in theory you could use any software that would work over a LAN. If your laptops have bluetooth then surely they must both have Wifi, why not use that?	Pete O'Neil (6584)

Because we have to be silent when our professors/teachers give us lectures. It gets boring sometimes, so we just want to type to talk. EDIT: Right now the system we use is just bluetoothing a .txt file from notepad back and forth and chat like that.	MasturJeff (7803)
