| 495081 | 2006-10-27 23:59:00 | Help required please I have a wireless network using dsl-g604t router. Consists lounge (dell pc wired into router) with printer, laptop with wireless card, and Macrocom pc in kids bedroom with a wireless card. All running xp and network works muffo. Cant get printer to work with laptop and kids pc. Followed Mr Gates instructions and few others from search engine. What I have done is go into lounge computer,control panel, printer icon, right click, enable sharing, name printer. Now go to either laptop or kids pc, go add printer wizard select network and browse etc but it dont come up with my printer which I named hpprinter. Got me buggered thought sharing a printer would be a peice of piss. Havent got zone alarm, tried disabling NAV still gloom and despair. Thanks tedheath |

| 495082 | 2006-10-30 03:35:00 | Can you share files on your network? If not check that "File and Printer sharing" is installed. Is the XP firewall enabled? If it is check that "file and print sharing" is ticked and allowed in the firewall settings. | berryb (99) | ||
