Apache is more stable and secure IMO , and cheaper too. |

Apache is much better than IIS for most users. I believe IIS has better performance and is a bit easier to configure but it still lacks basic features like URL rewriting. Apache is open source and is also the most popular server in the market. |

You'd probably find that Apache is more secure than the version of IIS you can run on XP. |
