like a lot of people i would relly like to get vista candidate 1 but i only have a 5 gig cap and snap has not came out with max speed yet :( is there any way i cn get it for free with out downloading it like can pc world send it to me or wat??? |

heh fat chance there, downloading it is the only way you can get it unless someone you know has got it and can burn it for you o.o |

Microsoft was giving free Vista RC1 DVDs out at a seminar/presentation they had in late August. See if you can find someone who has a copy, who'd be willing to burn a copy for you. |

I have RC1 on DVD here if you want to PM me. You will need a CD key from Microsoft though! |

A few of us also have RC2. Though I believe Chilling_Silence or End_Of_Reality would be the ones to see re: possible DVD |

You can't put it on a CD, but putting it on the next DVD sounds like a good idea. It'll take up half the disc though. :) |

Technically you can't copy the disk at all. MS is unlikely to complain at individuals passing a few copies around but a magazine would be a different matter. |

I just signed up to the Vista Beta Customer Preview Programme - one CD key is valid for 10 computers! Just find a friend who has access to a plan that has a huge download cap and get them to download it for you or find someone that you know who does have a copy, and use their key. |
