495356 2006-11-01 19:41:00 check the overlay controls (in video card settings). someone (oer app) may have change the colour settings.
Thanks OD 5,been a few things going on,and lost track,re going back,don't think one can restore that far back.
Had a look as far as I could Tweak,but no luck,may have to wait for Rob to have a look when he arrives.

495357 2006-11-01 21:58:00 Have you reset the video settings in WMP? In WMP10/11 (afaik) just Go to View > Enhancements > Video Settings and click reset in the Video Settings pane. Hope this wasn't a "too obvious to be correct" solution. sal (67)

495359 2006-11-02 00:36:00 This has just happened to me. I got around it by upgrading to the latest version of Windows Media Player. If you are already on the latest version you could try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it.

495362 2006-11-02 02:47:00 Go to Add/Remove programmes and make sure 'show updates' is ticked, WMP is listed there. Before uninstalling it make a system restore point. Apparantly things can go nasty when trying to remove the player,
