| 496074 | 2006-11-02 21:38:00 | Hi Yesss yet another thread about portforwading . Sorry guys . I got the free modem router DSL-502T from telecom yesterday . Now portforwading doesnt seem to work in this . I follow the instructions according to portforwarding . com but they dont seem to get saved . This is what i do First set a static IP Enter everything in the TCP/IP properties except Alternate DNS server then go to 10 . 1 . 1 . 1 login as admin Advanced - Virtual Server - Select user - ADD - then enter following Rule Name - Torrent Protocol - TCP Port Start,End, Map - 41047 (because there is only 1 port not range) then apply . . . log out . . restart modem . . test port 41047 in Azerus and still get NAT Error . Then i check to see if the rule still existed in the router setup . it wasnt there . So i tried the whole process without restarting the modem and it still gave me NAT error . Why would this be happening? . There is no software firewall blocking it . |
