496083 2006-11-03 03:29:00 Too late. I've already moved to Ubuntu Edgy on my new machine; and see no reason to move back. Antmannz (6583)
496084 2006-11-04 05:38:00 Great. Now what?
Hmm, I think the best way is not to distrubt Microsoft with the limited install times. So that Microsoft Revenue for Vista will fly to the ground.
lol.
I wonder if I can use any Anit-Virus on Vista? Any news from them about Anti-Virus programmes that can be used on Vista like BitDefender?

Most anti-virus programs have been re-worked for vista already, so that shouldn't be a problem.

496088 2006-11-06 01:55:00 Is it possible to run Win applications on a Linux Machine? Give me DirectX or give me Death Cornot (10386)
496089 2006-11-06 02:19:00 You can run some Win apps on Linux.
Look at wine (www.winehq.com/) or Cedega (http:).

Obviously, the implementation may not be quite as good as you'd get on a Windows machine.
