| 496037 | 2006-11-02 08:57:00 | Hi Could anyone out there please give me a reasonable and calm opinion on the modem Orcon is offering with its new deal - See: www.orcon.net.nz "Siemens Speedstream 4200 Broadband Modem $79.95 Currently FREE for new broadband connections on a 12 month contract Features an Ethernet and USB port that allows you to connect this router to an existing network or directly to a single computer. Please note: the USB port is not suitable for all operating systems" Many thanks J Harper |

| 496038 | 2006-11-02 19:15:00 | DSL modems just became smaller. The SpeedStream 4200 by alexanderaku, Aug 2, 2006 Pros: Small, has wall mount tabs on the bottom Cons: LED lights are difficult to see unless you are facing the top of the unit. The Bottom Line: If you need a reliable DSL modem, the Siemens can be easily hidden from view. The Siemens name has been a reliable one for me despite the error in troubleshooting. www10.shopping.com E_ANNEX_A_US Use it on ethernet - not USB. |
