496563 2006-11-05 04:55:00 don't worry , realised xtra does not like port forwarding on their modems , so will go buy a decent one i think. presso (10113)

496566 2006-11-05 06:38:00 Still won't work Trev

I have found a way round :D

It is throught the command line, here are the instructions:

1 . go run and type "cmd" and press enter
2 . Type "telnet 10 . 1 . 1 . 1" and press enter
3 . Login to the console using the username admin password admin (or whatever you may have changed the admin password to)
4 . Type "create nat rule entry ruleid "ANY NUMBER" rdr lcladdrfrom "YOUR IP" lcladdrto "YOUR IP" destportfrom num "PORT" destportto num :PORT" lclport num "PORT"" press enter
5 . Type "commit" press enter
6 . Type "exit" - done!

Replace the things in caps and the brackets and you should be sweet :)

496567 2006-11-05 07:26:00 lol i had to forward a port the other week, for the first time and **** was it hard to do with a 302g...

i got the same error as you mate but the torrent program started working(though it still came up with an error when i clicked ''test if this port is forwarded properly'') but it uploads now so its all good.

496568 2006-11-05 22:37:00 The 501 error is because the 302g has problems with Firefox. Use IE instead. linw (53)
