| 496562 | 2006-11-05 04:38:00 | i have had to drop my old trusty d-link modem and put in the modem that came with my broadband connection , now the problem is i have no idea how to get this one to port forward i want to open port 30316 , have tried to do it via what d-links instructions via their web site but at the end when i go to submit it comes up with 501 method not implemented. Sombody able to guid me through this please |

| 496566 | 2006-11-05 06:38:00 | Still won't work Trev :rolleyes: I have found a way round :D It is throught the command line, here are the instructions: 1 . go run and type "cmd" and press enter 2 . Type "telnet 10 . 1 . 1 . 1" and press enter 3 . Login to the console using the username admin password admin (or whatever you may have changed the admin password to) 4 . Type "create nat rule entry ruleid "ANY NUMBER" rdr lcladdrfrom "YOUR IP" lcladdrto "YOUR IP" destportfrom num "PORT" destportto num :PORT" lclport num "PORT"" press enter 5 . Type "commit" press enter 6 . Type "exit" - done! Replace the things in caps and the brackets and you should be sweet :) |

| 496567 | 2006-11-05 07:26:00 | lol i had to forward a port the other week, for the first time and **** was it hard to do with a 302g... i got the same error as you mate but the torrent program started working(though it still came up with an error when i clicked ''test if this port is forwarded properly'') but it uploads now so its all good. |
