| 496121 | 2006-11-03 02:05:00 | I have Window 98 SE and unistalled windows media player as it wasn't functioning well . I downloaded and re installed WMP 7 . 1 but the message was "Extracting file failed . It is most likely caused by low memory (low disk space for swapping file) or corrupted cabinet file" - I've had the same message from trying to download WMP 9 . 1 also . Not sure what I should do now? :help: Thx Wendy :) |

| 496123 | 2006-11-03 02:47:00 | I tried it but still got the same message, maybe I shouldn't have uninstalled it?? It said it wouldn't be able to totally uninstall it because it's part of Windows setup but it said it would "roll back" which it did. Any other ideas :) |

I went into programs / accessories/ entertainment and found windows media player, which will play a few basic's then stop half way through. I clicked onto check for updates but it said none were available, so I guess I'm stuck with what I've got...can't do much more than what we've done heh? I think it's version 6. Wendy :-) |
