| 497073 | 2006-11-07 02:15:00 | I downloaded the free version of his own alarm firewall, because I heard that the firewall provided by XP isn't much good. Problem is it won't recognise my antivir antivirus program so it can't connect unless I disable the firewall. Your supposed to be able to add the ISP for any program manually but when I tried this, typing in the provided space produced no result. Well except for the 2. So I can't press add!!!! Frustrating, there must be an answer?? GS |

| 497074 | 2006-11-07 02:22:00 | Whats adding an ISP to ZA got to do with the AV program? What are u trying to do? Update the AV program, or make it work when u open email, so it scans email? You're right, XP's firewall isnt that great. |

| 497075 | 2006-11-07 02:30:00 | in the antivirus monitoring section it may not ID your anti virus. not a big deal, simply turn the antivirus monitoring off. your antivirus may not update if you havn't allowed it through the firewall. go look in the program controll. afaik no such thing as adding ISP for program. i doubt its even in the pro ver let alone the free ver. BTW did you install it as the free ver or the the pro trial version? |
