496674 2006-11-05 22:33:00 Hi someone may be able to help me here.
A couple of years ago I borrowed a game that I found very good. It was flying a space ship and shooting alien spaceships, that sort of thing but it has really nice graphics and colours like Homeworld 2. I thought it was Homeworld 2 so had a look at it but I don't think you actually fly spaceship in it and are actually in a cockpit.
I remember I got to the third level or mission and was shooting at aliens with my team and doing quite well but then according to the plot the other people on my side decide I'm a traitor or something and start shooting at me. I never quite survived though that and gave up. I would like to give it another go but can't remember the name of the game now.
Anyone have any idea from my vague discription?
Thanks.

Freelancer, Freespace, X2, X3.

Think it could be the first one, because I remember some traitor business with that.

All of them are brilliant fun... Well... havn't played X2/X3 yet, but they look even more fun than Freelancer.

496677 2006-11-05 23:18:00 Thanks very much for your help. While looking at Freelancer and Freespace I'm sure it was Freespace 2. I'll have to search it out in the shops.
Cheers,

496678 2006-11-06 01:45:00 You are never going to get Freespace 2 in the shops. It's a wanted game. Still sells on ebay for $100, and its years old. Really hard to get. (if this is the right game I am thinking about...)

You might as well get Freelancer or X2/X3 to try. They are fun as well.
