| 497069 | 2006-11-09 05:00:00 | Many thanks for all your comments but no-one has come up with a solution and most donot understand my situation. Let me explain simply. I do not want to play games in DOS mode. I run a Database program (Dbase III plus) and have recently upgraded my operating system to XP Prop because that has remote Desktop Connection facility. I want to be able to access my work machine from home and use my Dbase program. The problem is I cannot get the DOS programs on my work computer to work in full screen remotely. All windows programs will run in full screen through Remote Desktop Connection but not DOS programs and I thought there must be a workaround to sort it out. I hope this explains it better and I appreciate all the help I can get. |

| 497072 | 2006-11-09 08:15:00 | Yes, the database program runs fine in full screen at work on Windows XP Pro. I have done some searching and found that Remote Desktop Connection does not support full screen mode for DOS programs but I am sure someone has found a way around it. I am sure there are many DOS programs out there still being used. My work machine is the Host machine and my home machine is the remote. Both are running XP Pro. |
