| 496721 | 2006-11-08 00:42:00 | Ok, problem sorted. Norton Security Centre's firewall was interfering with internet browsing of secure sites. The subscription had expired so maybe new defs were needed. Anyway I did the wisest thing and uninstalled the whole Norton Security Center. guess what? The notebook runs twice as fast! Who would pay for this crap? |
