So I tell her to take her mind off things by buying a new gadget . So I send her some roubles . So she upgrades her computer . :thumbs: So then she goes out and buys . . . . a bleeding ickPhone 6 Plus!!!!! :horrified The damn price is probably 3 or 4 times what I paid for my zingy S4 Mini! I'm still in virtual suspended animation as a result . I suspect it's hereditary on her woe-begotten mother's side . :yuck: *sigh* [Edit] Make that 5 or 6 times what I paid for my phone! :groan: |

My Grandson already lost 3 of them at the skate park (one iPhone5 and two 6's I believe), taken by bigger boys or gangs, he is over 6 foot but a bit of a chicken (my daughter has given him instructions not to fight, just hand over), or stolen from his back pack. | zqwerty (97) | ||

Ken :) I quoted Sir Bob Jones in an earlier post where he coined a rather apt phrase describing Sheeples at a more sophisticated level . It was in reference to our news media, and he said a "groaning giveaway of journalistic shoal fish mediocrity would emerge" . I think "shoal fish mediocrity" is also a rather apt term to describe the proclivities of Sheeple . :D |
