1399659 2015-04-30 04:38:00 It's about time the webmasters changed the PF1 clock, they have had heaps of time to get around to doing it. Terry Porritt (14)

1399661 2015-04-30 05:01:00 Where I came from they had daylight saving during WW1, even double daylight saving time during WW2, but New Zealanders being ever cautious only dabbled with daylight saving, and when they did introduce it couldn't bring themselves to advance the clocks by one whole hour.

So they formed a committee, and with the usual compromise it was agreed that the advance should be just one half hour, which the observant reader will notice is the mean of 0 and 1, perhaps reflecting the fors and againsts on the committee.

This state of affairs lasted timidly until 1974, when with unaccustomed boldness, it was agreed to advance the clocks by an astonishing whole one hour !!!!!!!

1399662 2015-04-30 05:23:00 Maybe they are using some really OLD servers. Just about every Computer automatically adjusts to daylight saving time, even my own servers do that. :) wainuitech (129)
1399663 2015-04-30 06:13:00 It is moi.

I have been faithfully manually changing the "Enable Daylight Savings" setting in the forum for years up until now as no one else does it. This year I rebelled. However I am now over the rebellion so it has been adjusted so guests (and non-logged in members) should see the correct time.

May not cave in so easily next time .... :p

1399664 2015-04-30 06:30:00 I didn't even notice, but then, I'm not a daylight savings fanboy either.... Agent_24 (57)
1399665 2015-04-30 07:45:00 What I know is where all this daylight goes when they save it. It certainly doesn't go to the government; there's no trace of any brightness in that quarter.

Some foreigner has probably got it, let us hope they get sunburnt.

Many thanks, I didn't realise you did it Jen, thought it was adjusted by the Australian operators of PC World site.

Being Aussies that would be a problem as most of them (as I tell my Aussie son in law) don't know the time of day. Of course he replies with suitable Aussie like comments about us Kiwis. :)
